USA Rugby - scholarship opportunities

    Friday May 16, Trivia Night Fund Raiser        St Charles VFW     6:30 p.m
    Trivia Night is for all parents, players, friends, supporters, co-workers, etc.  It is a
    fundraiser ($10/person) that can be paid at the door.  Participants form teams of
    no more than 10 people.  The teams compete against each other testing their
    knowledge of trivia.  It will consist of 6 rounds of trivia questions, in several
    different categories, from music to history, to movies, you get the picture.  
    Generally, people bring snacks, pizza, dips, etc for themselves and their team to
    share.  There will be a cash bar available.  

    Saturday May 17th --  Practice 9:30 - 11:00
    Saturday May 17th -- Field set up for Fresh/Soph Tournament 5:00 pm @ Campton

    Sunday, May 18th – 4th Annual Freshman/Sophomore Tournament @ Campton
    Monday, May 19th & 20th -- Practice 4:00 at Primrose

    Wednesday, May 21st -- Playoff Match against Brother Rice  Game should start
    between 5:30 & 6:00

MIDDLE SCHOOL RUGBY

The SCYRFC is open to any 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in the Fox Valley Area.

Registration and the first practice will be Sunday April 6th at 1:00 PM at Primrose Park in
St. Charles. Registration at 1:00, practice from 1:30-3:00. Cost is $40.00 per player. Checks
payable to St. Charles Rugby. Players will need to wear shorts or sweats, football or
soccer cleats and a molded mouthpiece.  We will be practicing once a week on Sundays
usually and will be playing two matches in mid to late May. The season will be from April
6th to May 18th. Last year  was our first season and we had a great time. We are looking
to build on that in 2008.
